Success in Funnel Runners depends on speed, coordination, and knowing exactly what the van needs this run. You have roughly 20 minutes before an EF5 destroys the map. Because layouts, weather, and item spawns change every match, memorizing one street route fails after the first tornado touchdown. Phase 1 — Van Diagnosis (0–2 Minutes)

• Read every flagged problem on the van problems panel before anyone leaves spawn
• Note required tools for each repair — tires need jacks, not just rubber
• Assign cardinal loot zones in co-op; solo players pick one direction and commit
• Van anchor monitors Doppler Radar for first weather callouts

Phase 2 — Inner Ring Scouting (2–7 Minutes)

Sweep the blocks closest to the van first. Gas stations and hardware stores within walking distance supply fuel, tires, and wrenches before roads degrade. Announce every find on walkie-talkie so teammates do not duplicate routes.

Phase 3 — Outer Perimeter Push (7–15 Minutes)

• Big parts first: Tires and gas cans slow movement — grab them while main roads stay passable

• Watch the tornado tracker — hail and lightning break down buildings in the outer ring
• Avoid repeating streets already destroyed — loot there is gone permanently

Phase 4 — Assembly and Extraction (15–20 Minutes)

• Pool all parts next to the van — parallel repairs beat sequential solo trips
• Assign one player to engine QTEs on the repair panel while others watch the sky
• Board immediately when the engine starts — do not chase one last house
• Drive out on main roads away from the tornado — avoid alleys blocked by cars and fallen trees
